As mentioned earlier, Domain Authority is a third-party SEO metric developed by Moz. It is used to determine the ranking potential of a website in search engine results pages (SERPs). It is measured on a scale ranging from 1 to 100. The higher the DA score of a website, the stronger the chances of it dominating rankings as well as its competitors.

The following factors are considered when calculating the DA score.
Backlink Profile: The quality and quantity of inbound links pointing toward your site influence its domain authority. Backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites tend to contribute more positively, resulting in a higher DA score.
Referring Domains: It is the number of unique domains linking to your site. If you get 10 links from different sites, it provides far more value than getting 10 links from a single site.
